| Magic Mountain's snow play hill, winter recreation area in Southern California. |
| Big Bear’s second tubing hill, at the famous Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain. Alpine Slide snow play hills increased their snow making capacity 25% in the off-season, primarily so they could open more runs earlier in the season. Snow making built base depths in excess of 30 feet last year. Getting to the top of the snow is easy, since they have Magic Carpet uphill lift that is even covered in Plexiglas for guest comfort. Alpine Slide, home of the signature bobsled-like experience of the same name, is famous for its “Snake” patterned after a slope style track that takes sliders through a series of high-banked turns. **Children between the age of 2 to 6 ride free with a paying adult 18 years of age or older and must ride on the same inner tube with the adult. One on one adult supervision. One adult per child at all times. Snow Play with Magic Carpet Closed for the 2012/2013 Winter Season See you next winter. |
